The article reports on the conclusion of the tangerine export season in Adjara, which saw a total export of approximately 15.5 thousand tons to markets including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. Despite the successful organization of the citrus season, which included a special headquarters to facilitate collection, sale, and provide subsidies for non-standard fruits, exports were down by more than half compared to the previous season, with the decline attributed to both a lower harvest and increased domestic demand. The Ministry of Agriculture in Adjara is implementing measures to improve citrus yield and quality, such as introducing modern garden care methods and updating citrus plant varieties.
