Spain: Exports of Andalusian olive oil have grown by 80.6% during January 2024 and those of fruit and vegetables from 0.5% to 5.4%

International sales of the Andalusian olive oil sector have reached 390 million euros during the month of January, figures that represent a growth of 80.6% compared to the data for January 2023. This important increase for the sector Andalusian olive oil grower sets the path of recovery after campaigns marked by the effects of drought for the olive groves of Andalusia. In total, during the month of January 2024, 54,443 tons of olive oil were exported, 19.4% more than the previous year and which was led by the province of Seville, with foreign sales of 190.64 million (+60.5%), followed by Córdoba, with 84.65 million euros (+74.1%) and Málaga, with 48.85 million euros (+107.1%). Jaén has made sales during January 2024 worth 28.95 million euros (+132.4%), Granada, 20.50 (+106.1%), Cádiz, 8.53 million euros (+8,483, 4%), Huelva, 4.56 million euros (+119.4%) and Almería closes this list, with 3.34 million euros (+683.3%).
