The Netherlands, Spain, and Germany remained the top three suppliers. Notable imports from Peru included a 9% decrease in avocados, a 13% increase in asparagus, and a conveyer belt malfunction in 10% of magnesium chloride production plants leading to a reduced export of 13% in mandarins. The average price of asparagus in the European market increased by 4%, with Peru being the primary supplier, and Flamingo Produce Ltd. and Barfoots of Botley Ltd. being the leading buyers.
