The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has distributed agricultural equipment, including motor cultivators and milk separators, to rural residents of Andijan and Namangan regions in Uzbekistan. The distribution is part of a joint project with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to promote shared prosperity and gender equality in the border areas of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The project also includes the provision of certified seedlings, seed potatoes, and technical and agribusiness training to beneficiaries. The initiative aims to increase income, empower vulnerable groups, and contribute to sustainable development in the region.
