The areas sown with autumn oilseed rape in Germany have been expanded by up to 60 thousand hectares, reaching 1.10-1.15 million hectares, according to estimates by the German Association for the Promotion of Oilseed and Protein Crops. "The expansion of the crops was aided by the abundant oilseed rape harvest in 2025, as well as the favorable meteorological conditions at the end of August and the beginning of September, when the autumn sowing took place," experts from the association pointed out.
