First nursery for the production of hop seedlings in Brazil

Among the basic ingredients are water, malt and hops. The most elaborate ones have fruits, peppers and whatever the imagination allows to mix. Hops, a plant used in the manufacture of beer, gained a capital, Teresópolis, a region of Rio de Janeiro, 55 km from the capital Rio de Janeiro, received the title of National Capital of Hops, with the publication of Law nº 14.414/2022 in the Official Gazette of Unity. The city had the first nursery for the production of hop seedlings in Brazil with a certification of origin recognized by the Mystery of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa).
