The Akmola region in Kazakhstan is playing a major role in the country's agricultural sector, with a production capacity of 600 tons of raw materials per day that is exported to several countries. The region has also started operation of a vegetable oil production plant and is seeing active development in flour-grinding. The region produces more than a quarter of Kazakhstan's grain, meeting domestic demand and exporting over 2 million tons to 28 countries annually. The industrial production volume in the region has increased by 9%, reaching 543 billion tenge, driven by growth in manufacturing, metallurgy, and chemical industry.
