The Brazilian chicken market is experiencing a price pressure due to an increased supply of chicken meat, caused by the accommodation of broiler chicks in December 2022. Despite this, data from Cepea/Esalq shows that poultry prices in São Paulo are starting to stabilize, with a slight decrease in chicken wholesale prices. However, live animal prices have seen a decrease in Paraná and a significant drop in Santa Catarina. Additionally, the prices for frozen chicken and poultry have seen a slight increase.
