Fruit and vegetable price trend in Italy on March 7th

Sicilian oranges have returned to the markets after the strike of the transporters, with a consequent increase in prices. The green asparagus campaign has started and the agretti campaign continues. New varieties of artichokes are coming in, such as the Romanesco viola. Demand for strawberries not yet high due to low temperatures. Thanks to the agreement with the Italian Telematic Commodity Exchange (BMTI) and Italmercati, we publish the survey of fruit and vegetable prices at the wholesale markets as of 7 March 2022.
