Fruit and vegetable price trend in Italy on December 9th

The clementine campaign continues with a certain stability and regularity. Most of the oranges are still of the blond pulp cultivar but the interest is for the Tarocco, not yet present in large quantities and with medium-small sizes. The artichoke market is lively with rising prices. Medium-high demand for walnuts. The decline in tomato prices continues. Thanks to the agreement with the Italian Telematic Commodity Exchange (Bmti) and Italmercati, we are publishing the survey of fruit and vegetable prices at wholesale markets as of 9 December 2024.
