The Association of Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industries (GIMNI) will continue to support the government's bulk cooking oil distribution policy and will not back down, clarifying previous concerns about potential corruption in the program. GIMNI's Executive Director, Sahat Sinaga, urged the cooking oil industry to focus on production targets during the fasting month and Eid, and assured full cooperation with the Attorney General's Office in regards to a corruption case involving some business actors in the sector.
