In the 2022/2023 season, Poland achieved a record volume of grain exports, with wheat grain exports reaching 4.9 million tons, double the amount compared to the previous year. This success can be attributed to logistical facilitations introduced by the Polish government, grain subsidies, and strong cooperation between the grain industry and agricultural administration. The majority of exported grain went to the EU market, particularly Germany, while a significant portion was also sold to non-EU countries such as Nigeria and South Africa.
