Three Danish companies have announced the launch of the world's first dynamic green ammonia production plant. The facility is located in Ramme and is owned by Skovgaard Energy, writes Infoindustry. It is noted that the demonstration plant has an annual capacity of 5,000 tons of green ammonia and reduces emissions by approximately 9,600 tons of CO₂ per year. The key feature of the project is the dynamic integration of renewable generation without the use of hydrogen storage: ammonia production adapts to fluctuations in power supply from solar and wind sources. The project received DKK 81 million (approximately €11 million) in funding from the Danish Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP).
