Gyeonggi Province in South Korea is set to certify 'Livestock Happy Farm' this year, with applications accepted by the end of March. This certification system, introduced in 2018, aims to produce safe livestock products and harmonize the livestock industry with people, livestock, and the environment. Farms raising Korean/beef cattle, dairy cows, pigs, laying hens, and broilers in Gyeonggi-do are eligible to apply. Benefits for certified farms include renovations to livestock and quarantine facilities, environmental maintenance, and disease control systems.
