Farmers in Huong Khe, Ha Tinh are actively preparing for the summer-autumn crop by dredging canals and storing water. The Tiem River Irrigation Exploitation Station has already dredged about 20 km of canals and ditches, with plans to complete the rest by the end of the week. The area has seen thunderstorms, resulting in high water levels in irrigation lakes and dams. The People's Committee of Huong Khe district is implementing measures to prevent water scarcity for agricultural production, including dredging, clearing, and consolidating irrigation systems. The district also plans to exploit water sources from streams and mobilize resources for domestic use, livestock development, and crop production.
