Taiwan: An oversupply of locally grown cabbage in Yunlin

A surge in cabbage production in Yunlin County's Dounan Township, Taiwan has led to an oversupply and a significant drop in prices. Wholesale cabbage is now being sold at NT$5 per kilogram. To manage the oversupply, some farmers have started charging or allowing the public to pick the cabbage, as the cost of hiring workers for harvesting would be higher.
