Huong Khe supports farmers in Vietnam with nearly 1.8 billion dong to buy winter corn seed

Huong Khe has supplied over 34 tons of maize seeds of all kinds to localities to support farmers in production to ensure the seasonal schedule. To encourage people to produce, the People's Council of Huong Khe district issued Resolution No. 16/NQ-HDND to support the cost of winter maize varieties in 2021. Accordingly, people will be supported at 60,000 VND/kg for maize. maize varieties: HN68; HN88 and 50,000 VND/kg for maize varieties: CP511; CP111. According to the production registration results of the people, in 2021, the whole Huong Khe district is expected to sow 1,800 hectares of winter maize. The demand for maize seed for production is estimated at over 34 tons, equivalent to over 4.5 billion VND.
