REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman emphasized the government's commitment to maintaining the consistency of President Prabowo Subianto's policy regarding the rice import ban. He conveyed that the sealing of 250 tons of illegal rice in Sabang is a form of the state's firmness in enforcing the president's instructions. The government received a report of illegal rice imports on Sunday (23/11/2025). Amran led a swift coordination with the Aceh Police Chief, the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police, the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Commander, and the Minister of Trade to ensure that no import permits were issued by national authorities.
