In 2022, the Dutch economy saw a significant increase in agricultural exports, with a total earnings of 49.6 billion euros. This figure includes 44.9 billion euros from Dutch-manufactured exports and 4.7 billion euros from re-exports of agricultural goods produced abroad. The export value of dairy and egg products saw a notable increase of 35% to 11.9 billion euros, while the value of floriculture products decreased by 400 million euros to 11.5 billion euros. Meat exports also saw an increase in value. The majority of agricultural goods had a higher export price in 2022 than in 2021. Germany continued to be the main destination for Dutch agricultural exports, with a 24% share, followed by Spain and the United States, which experienced the most significant growth in exports to these countries.
