In 2023, Ukraine saw a significant increase in its grain and oilseeds export, rising by 1.5 times from $77.2 million in 2022 to $119.5 million. This increase was largely due to the export of hybrid seeds of both domestic and foreign breeding, reaching a record 42,500 tons and surpassing imports. The primary buyer of Ukraine's domestically produced corn seeds was France, and the country also exported seeds of millet, rye, sunflower, and soybean.
