In Bolu, the fish stalls at the established public market were affected by the adverse weather conditions prevailing in the Black Sea. In stalls where anchovies were not available, citizens turned to sprat. In the market established in Ihsaniye District, shoppers created a crowd at the fish stalls. However, due to the storm that occurred in the Black Sea, fishermen were unable to go out to sea, so there were no anchovies at the stalls. The most preferred type of fish by citizens who could not find anchovies was sprat. It was observed that at the market stalls, sprat was sold at 200, sardines at 150, mullet at 250, red mullet at 300-400, jack mackerel at 500, sea bass and Black Sea salmon at 600, and wahoo at 500 to 700 Turkish Lira.
