In Kazakhstan, the production of vegetable oil for 5 months increased by 15.5%

In Kazakhstan, the production of vegetable oils increased by almost 16% in the first five months of 2023. The leader in the production of oils is the East Kazakhstan region. According to the Energyprom.kz portal, in January-May of this year, Kazakhstan produced 280.8 thousand tons of refined and unrefined vegetable oil, which is 15.5% more than a year earlier. At the same time, the output of refined oil decreased by 14.7% over the year, to 60.8 thousand tons, the production of unrefined oil, on the contrary, increased by 28%, to 220 thousand tons.
