In nine working days, pork exports from Brazil reach 53.08% of the revenue registered in May 2022

According to information from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Federal Government, released this Monday (15), exports of fresh and frozen pork meat in the nine working days of May had results higher than April of last year, but this second week brought smaller numbers than the first week of the month. The exception was the price paid per ton, which had a slight increase in relation to the first week of May. The revenue obtained from pork exports at the beginning of May, US$ 101,282,406, represents 53.08% of the total collected in the entire month of May 2022, which was US$ 190,808,581. In the case of volume shipped, the 39,016,152 tons are 48.9% of the total registered in May last year, amounting to 79,786,145 tons.
