In Russia, they want to begin mass pheasant breeding. Specialists from the K. G. Razumovsky Moscow State University of Technologies and Management have already begun implementing the project, writes Izvestia. More details about the new initiative were shared by Nikita Kochetkov, a junior research fellow at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Fisheries and candidate of biological sciences. According to him, the university is developing a special technology for growing and incubating this bird, which will be oriented primarily toward farming. At the same time, the first generation of chicks with increased survivability has already been obtained in the faculty's laboratories.
