In Senegal, Macky Sall stays the course on agriculture

Senegalese President Macky Sall made no secret of his satisfaction with the unfolding of the 2020/21 agricultural campaign during the last cabinet meeting. A particularly marked satisfaction for the 2020/21 groundnut season which has just ended with collections and exports of seeds amounting to 721,386 tonnes and FCFA 216 billion (€ 329.3 million) injected into the rural world. With this in mind, Macky Sall has decided to renew the funding in the amount of FCFA 60 billion for the 2021/22 crop year.
