The Kaliningrad Region's agricultural progress report shows that by May 15, all planned 73.0 thousand hectares for spring crop sowing have been achieved, including 112% of grain and leguminous crops, with grain corn at 138% and spring wheat at 94%. Potato planting covered 48% of the planned area, and 43% of the planned space was used for open-ground vegetables. The region also planted soybeans and oilseed flax, exceeding its plan by 110% and 237% respectively. Additionally, spring plowing, fertilizing of winter grain crops, and cultivation of perennial grasses were conducted.
