EU pork shipments increased in November, with Denmark leading the trade, while Poland saw a decrease in shipments to the UK. Although fresh/frozen pork volumes remained stable, bacon and sausage imports experienced growth. From January to November, the EU imported 737,900 tonnes of pork, an 11.2% increase from the previous year, with bacon and sausages showing the most significant growth. The UK exported 28,800 tonnes of pork in November, with the EU and China being its primary markets, experiencing a 7.1% increase in pork exports from the same period in 2021. Bacon and processed pig meat saw the largest export volume increases year on year.
