The Interprofessional Agro-Food Organization of White-Clad Pork (Interporc) celebrates the agreements reached between Spain and China in the field of animal health and agro-food exports. This was pointed out by its general director, Alberto Herranz, at the Chinese embassy during his participation in the presentation of the CIIE (China International Import Expo 2026). The protocols, signed during the visit to that country by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, open new commercial possibilities for the Spanish pork sector in its main foreign market. The first focuses on the export of processed proteins; while the second modifies the current protocol for the export of pork to China with the aim of incorporating cooked products.
