Japan will help Ukraine's Kharkiv region farmers with sunflower and corn seeds

The Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide the farmers of Kharkiv Oblast with sunflower and corn seeds as part of spring sowing. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The Japanese government purchased seeds worth more than $1 million. It has already been delivered to Ukrainian warehouses and Kharkiv farmers will be able to apply for it through the State Agrarian Register. Therefore, farmers are advised to follow the news on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and DAR. Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi expressed gratitude to the Japanese side for comprehensive support of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
