The Korea-Africa Agricultural Conference and the Korea-Africa Business Summit were held in Seoul on June 5, 2024, in the context of the Korea-Africa Summit. These meetings aimed to enhance the partnership between Korea and Africa in agriculture and business. The agricultural conference was attended by the presidents of Comoros, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar, along with ministers from nine African countries. Discussions focused on combating global challenges, including climate change, and the signing of an MoU for the K-Ricebelt project to share South Korean agricultural expertise and high-yielding rice seeds. The business summit emphasized strengthening food and mineral security and exploring ways to improve global supply chain cooperation.
