León is for the first time the province with the highest beet production in Spain

The data recently made public by the Spanish Agrarian Guarantee Fund (FEGA), as an agency dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture, places the province of León at the head of beet production in Spain, for the first time in history. FEGA has confirmed that, in the 2023 CAP aid applications, a total of 35,303 hectares dedicated to beet production have been declared, so that Castilla y León stands out by autonomous communities, with 24,827 hectares, followed by Andalusia, with 7,864 hectares.
