In October 2024, France experienced a significant increase in dairy product prices. The average price for conventional cow's milk rose by 15 euros to 48.56 euros per 100 liters, and organic milk increased by 1.2 percent to 55.70 euros per 100 liters. The proportion of organic milk in the French dairy market, however, decreased by 5.1 percent compared to the previous year. Additionally, the prices for various other dairy products such as yoghurt, dairy desserts, packaged cream, uncooked pressed cheeses, fresh butter, and whey powder also experienced various degrees of price increases or decreases.
