Thailand has been granted permission to export fresh chicken eggs to Malaysia due to a production shortage caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. This special import is expected to be necessary for the next six months. Currently, four Thai entrepreneurs are involved in this export process. Thailand's daily egg production capacity is approximately 43 million eggs, with an export volume of 1.5 million eggs daily. This export activity will not impact domestic consumption. The Department of Livestock Development in Thailand will oversee the production of livestock products from the source of the animals to the collection and processing centers, ensuring quality and adherence to international food safety standards.
