On the Italian island of Sardinia, Lumpy Skin Disease was again detected on Tuesday, April 14. The infection was found on a cattle farm with 148 animals. Five cattle showed symptoms of the disease. The infected animals have since been removed. No new cases of Lumpy Skin Disease in Italy have been reported since November 2025.
