The governor recently held meetings with Dutch organizations to discuss projects under the 'Water for Agriculture' theme in the Magdalena department. These projects aim to make agricultural production more circular, including efficient irrigation techniques for oil palm cultivation, aquifer storage and recovery techniques for banana and plantain production, and enhancing water governance. The governor also visited the University and Research Center of Wageningen to discuss circular agriculture in the palm, banana, and protein sectors. This visit is expected to strengthen Dutch-Colombian relations and the cooperation focused on the economic and productive reactivation of Magdalena.
