Agronomist Marcelo Figueira has assumed the position of fungicides director for Latin America at Bayer. The executive returns to the company after a recent stint at Sumitomo Chemical Latin America. Figueira has 30 years of experience in agribusiness, with a career trajectory at companies such as Sumitomo Chemical, Bayer CropScience, UPL, FMC, Cheminova, and others. His career combines roles in commercial and marketing areas, focusing on business plans, marketing, distribution, product launches, and portfolio positioning in Brazil and Latin America.
