In November 2023, the country imported 267,602 tons of wheat worth 78.32 million USD, representing decreases in both volume and turnover compared to October 2023 as well as decreases in volume, turnover, and price compared to November 2022. Overall, in the first 11 months of 2023, the country imported over 3.99 million tons of wheat, worth nearly 1.37 billion USD, reflecting an 8.2% increase in volume but a 4% decrease in turnover compared to the previous year. The main market for wheat imports was Australia, accounting for 65.7% of the total volume and 65.5% of the total turnover, followed by the US and Brazil.
