March’s fresh and processed trade up on February figures Potato trade data as up to the end of March 2021 has now been released by HMRC. Figures show that in March, both fresh and processed exports increased from February’s totals. Fresh and processed imports also increased on the month, whereas March’s seed exports and import figures were down. As previously mentioned, the method of data collection used by the HMRC changed from January 2021 onwards. Before this date, data was collected on physical movement of goods.
