Live pig purchase prices On the domestic market, on January 9-15, 2023, plants covered by the monitoring of the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development purchased pigs at PLN 7.38/kg, i.e. 2% cheaper than a week earlier and 4% cheaper than a month ago. At the same time, the price of live pigs was 64% higher than a year ago. Selling prices of pork Half-carcasses of pork were sold at PLN 10.89 / kg, which is 1% cheaper in the previous week and 4% than in the previous month. This assortment was 60.5% more expensive than a year ago. Beef livestock purchase prices In the second week of January 2023, domestic suppliers for slaughter cattle obtained PLN 10.74/kg, which is 1% less than in the previous week, but 1% more than a month ago.
