In the Irkutsk region, during the first three months of 2026, a growth in the production of major types of livestock products was recorded. According to Irkutskstat data, the volume of livestock and poultry production for slaughter in live weight increased by 1.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, and the total milk yield increased by 2.3%. However, egg production in the region decreased by 11%.
