April 14, 2026 - This is a historic day in the cooperation between the agricultural ministries of Poland and Japan. Minister Stefan Krajewski traveled to Asia with a delegation accompanying Prime Minister Donald Tusk. As a result of bilateral meetings organized during this time by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, years of efforts to expand Poland's export opportunities to the Japanese market have been concluded. Starting today, new conditions for beef export Ministers of both countries announced the conclusion of bilateral agreements and the entry into force of new rules for the export of Polish beef to Japan. The most eagerly awaited provisions by the Polish meat industry are the removal of the age limit for exported cattle and the possibility of exporting processed beef products.
