Pandeglang Regency's local superior commodity, Talas Beneng, is being developed into an export commodity across 100 hectares, as part of the Ministry of Agriculture's three-fold movement of exports. The project, which includes an agro-edu-tourism concept in collaboration with local entrepreneurs and the creation of processing facilities, is expected to increase farmers' welfare and stimulate community economic growth. The Ministry of Agriculture commends this initiative, highlighting the benefits of farmer corporations in increasing production, added value, and improving farmers' welfare. This is part of a larger strategy to consolidate digital-based agricultural technology, improve seeds, develop derivative products, and strengthen the agricultural sector during the Covid-19 pandemic.
