Modern abattoirs in Tanzania assured of export permits

TANZANIA’S Consul General in Dubai, Shabaan Khatib Baraza has promised to assist local livestock keepers who want to sell meat and related products to the United Arab Emirates to get permits, adding their market is big enough for business. Speaking at the beginning of his visit to the 26th Gulfood 2021 Trade Fair in Dubai held every year, Khatib said market for meat products in the United Arab Emirates is huge, because the citizens love meat from Tanzania. “I promise to give you more cooperation so you obtain permits to sell meat or related products in the United Arab Emirates… these kingdoms require a lot of beef from Tanzania and the market is big because of its natural taste,” he pointed out.
