Deliveries of fresh onions from Morocco have not only recovered after the lifting of export restrictions in 2024, but have also reached new record highs for the country, reports EastFruit. According to data from the Global Trade Tracker from Morocco’s Office des Changes, from June 2024 to May 2025, Morocco supplied 64.9 thousand tons of fresh onions to the external market with a total value of $238 million, which is 4.8 times more than in the previous season and 3% higher than the previously set record in the 2022/23 season.
