Peru has approved the export of blueberries to Malaysia for the first time later this year, as reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation. The National Agrarian Health Service of Peru will oversee the phytosanitary certification to ensure compliance with the requirements set by both countries. This new market expands the reach of Peruvian blueberries to 59 markets, including the United States, China, and the United Kingdom. In the last campaign, Peru emerged as the leading exporter, exporting 162 thousand 459 tons.
