New European campaign to enhance the value of eggs as a natural, sustainable, and healthy food

Fried eggs. The Interprofessional Organization of Eggs and Egg Products (INPROVO) is launching the development of the European campaign “EU EGGS, 3 TIMES GOOD”, an ambitious information program that over the next 36 months will bring consumers closer to the value of eggs produced under the European production model, recognized for its high standards of food safety, animal welfare, sustainability, and traceability. This initiative, co-financed with community funds, will be deployed in Spain, with a budget of 2.4 million euros, and in Hungary, where it will have 525,000 euros for its execution. The campaign is born with a creative premise that summarizes the essence of the European egg: “If the egg did not exist, it would have to be invented”. With this idea, INPROVO seeks to convey that the egg is a food “three times good” for its benefits to the body and mind, for its contribution to a more sustainable planet, and for its versatility and flavor in everyday cuisine.
