South Korea: Beekeeping farm registration accepted on August 31st

(Youngcheon = Yonhap News) The city of Yeongcheon announced that in accordance with the enforcement of the 'Act on the Promotion and Support of the Beekeeping Industry' (Beekeeping Industry Act), beekeeping farms must apply for registration by the 31st of next month. The registration target is beekeeping farms with 10 or more native honeybees, 30 or more Western honey bees, or 30 or more mixed breeding groups. Farmers who do not register may be fined up to 300,000 won for production and sale of beekeeping products, and may be restricted from beekeeping-related policy projects. Submit documents proving that you have the right to use the site, disinfection facilities, equipment and medicines, installation of information signs, production (processing) facilities, and equipment to the Eup/Myeon/Dong administrative welfare center where the workplace is located.
