Yeongcheon city in South Korea has given a deadline for bee farming businesses to register under the 'Act on the Promotion and Support of the Beekeeping Industry' by the end of August. Farms with ten or more native honeybees, 30 or more Western honey bees, or 30 or more mixed breeding groups are required to register. Those who do not comply may face penalties such as fines and exclusion from beekeeping-related policy projects. Additionally, the city is recruiting participants for its local community job project for the latter half of the year.
