According to the portal, the largest volume of production fell on the Turkestan region: 71.1 thousand tons, minus 0.6% per year. This is 24% of the total output in the country. Almaty (31.4 thousand tons, minus 1.3%) and Aktobe region (27.6 thousand tons, minus 5.5%) occupied the second and third lines. The lowest figures were recorded in the Ulytau region: 2.7 thousand tons, minus 2.5% per year. FOR REFERENCE: in 2022, the country produced 521.2 thousand tons of fresh bread - 0.8% more than a year earlier. As noted, the largest output fell on wheat bread: 222.7 thousand tons - 1.3% less than a year earlier.
