A report by the official veterinary service of Paraguay has found that the country exported 283.93 million kilos of beef from January to October 2022, generating revenue of $1.47 billion. In October alone, 128,048 heads of cattle were slaughtered, leading to a total of 32.15 million kilos of beef. The main markets for Paraguayan beef included Chile, Russia, Brazil, Taiwan, Israel, and Uruguay, accounting for most of the exports. Additionally, bovine offal exports reached 47.57 million kilos, bringing in approximately $94.82 million.
