The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Dak Lak Province in Vietnam is guiding enterprises and growers to prepare for the export of passion fruit to China, following the latter's decision to import Vietnamese passion fruit on a pilot basis. The export process has been in the works since 2006 and involves setting up codes for enterprises, growers, and packing houses. The production of passion fruit in Vietnam has seen a significant increase in the past five years, with the total planting area being 6,000 hectares and an annual output of 300,000-400,000 tons.
